Audi have finally revealed its new A5 range at the Geneva Motor Show, the reveal of the RS5 Coupe showcased aggressive RS styling, holding more torque and power than the old model and better efficiency. The RS5 reveal has directed Audi’s RS badged models to another concept and appearance.
The front end is a black honeycomb grille flanked by two large, angular air vents. The RS5’s stance is accentuated with wider wheel arches, and it rides on new five spoke 19-inch alloy wheels – larger 20-inch wheels make the options list. The car also comes with an optional spoiler.
Looking at the engine side of things, the RS5 has a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 producing 444bhp. The torque nudges up by 170Nm to 600Nm at peak. The car travels from 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds, with the limiter deactivated, it can hit 174mph flat-out. That makes it faster than the previous model, which did the sprint in 4.6 seconds, but it’s more efficient as well.
The seats for the RS5 are sports with optional diamond stitching, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and RS logos around the car. The Audi virtual cockpit is available and consists features info on torque and g-forces. The Audi RS5 made its Geneva MotorShow debut few days ago, but the cars would be available during early June.
The Audi RS5 has been a much anticipated car of 2017, here at AutoExport we also are anticipating the arrival of this incredible phenomenon, due to be released in June. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org regarding any queries or information for this vehicle or any other.
